Jamaican Guiness Punch

This is one of favourites, Guiness Punch Jamaican style is a wonderful, healthy drink full of body, iron and nutrients that is an excellent (if perhaps slightly heavy) accompaniment to meals. To make this you need simple ingredients that you can get in any store.

What You Need

We’ve added the ingredients list at the top left. Now the reason I say that this punch could be somewhat heavy is that a version of it includes using Oats to thicken it. If you don’t want a thick punch, simply omit the oats.

Directions

  1. If you are using Oats, soak them for around half an hour in a bowl of water to soften them
  2. Add the Guiness, oats, condensed milk and rum to a blender with 6-8 ice cubes.
  3. Blend until smooth
  4. Add nutmeg and cinnamon and serve

In addition could substitute the condensed milk for a can of nutriment or nourishment.
